  • The following view is about the Sardegna region (green in the map on the left); the north-east area is perhaps the most interesting for stereo viewing, owing to several crossed tectonic lineaments recordered in the landscape (red-shaded area below).

  • The stereo-perspective view displays an important deformation along the Y direction. The original Geodetic Reference System is UTM WGS84 zone 32. The pixel resolution is roughly 10m.

  • To speed up browsing stereo images have been compressed from 24 to 8 bits although this degrades the rendering of flat areas.
