  • The following view (green regions in the map on the left) comprehends all the Apennine chain from the Liguria region (North) to the Calabria region (South). This perspective view from the Thyrrenian see shows all the inactive and active volcanic complexes of Latium and Campania regions (including Vesuvium and Campi Flegrei).

  • The stereo-perspective view displays an important deformation along the Y direction. The original Geodetic Reference System is UTM WGS84 zone 32. The pixel resolution is roughly 10m.

  • To speed up browsing stereo images have been compressed from 24 to 8 bits although this degrades the rendering of flat areas.
