TINITALY onLine: perspective view of the digital elevation model of Italy

 

 

  • The following view is about Sicily (green in the map on the left); interesting zones are the volcanic areas: the Etna mount and the Eolian islands.

  • The perspective view displays an important deformation along the Y direction. The original Geodetic Reference System is UTM WGS84 zone 32. The pixel resolution is roughly 10m.
